Research in Psychology and recent research in Neurobiology, have contributed to explain successful leadership. The research has shown that workplaces, where employees feel good about themselves and their organization, more easily retain and recruit skilled employees, have lower stress levels, produce more and can adapt faster. The same research shows that 50-70% of the employees' well-being depends on the nearest manager.
A health-promoting and developing culture is dependent on a health-promoting and developing leadership and employeeship. Such a culture more easily adapts to a fast changing society. Emotionally and socially competent managers enable their own as well as the employees´ wellbeing, and are more successfull in leading avd developing their businesses.
The purpose of this program is for the participants to inspire each other and start a goaloriented personal development to full-fledged leaders and cultural bearers, people who live as they teach and who have an understanding of both large and small contexts and how they are connected. The participants will get a rational, and above all emotional understanding that, as a leader, you enable others to conduct and develop activities in a health-promoting climate. You set a good example of being a rolemodel, taking your assignments, yourself and your relations with managers and employees seriously. You are grounded in your leadership.
Managers who have attended basic leadership courses, have hands-on experience of leadership and who are well motivated in developing themselves, their employees and their activities.
The participants should in a short time and in a trustworthy manner be able to communicate their personal management philosophy based on values and how these are related to the customer and the assignment as well as to the vision and business idea, and how they are utilized to define goals, strategy and communication, in order to achieve operational results.
Evaluation takes place
- by the participants themselves through evaluation of their own leadership skills at start and finish, evaluation of their achieved individually set goals, and how they believe their new insights will affect their leadership
- through feedback within the group
- through concluding evaluation discussions between the employer, program participants and coaches
